Governance

Kerry is a founding member of Stratford Rising a consortium lobbying to place arts, creativity & education at the heart of Stratford’s regeneration & a member of British Actors Equity International Committee for Artists’ Freedom and former member of Discover, the Children’s Story Centre in Stratford and Stratford Renascence Partnership – A public/ private consortium which places Culture at the heart of East London’s Regeneration.

Open Stage

Kerry pioneered OPEN STAGE, where TRSE became the first theatre to hand over complete programming power to its audience.   In one of the largest public consultation initiative by a producing theatre in the UK, the theatre spent 18 months engaging in qualitative and quotative research with the invitation to give up complete programming power to its local community and audience in a 6-month season running up to the 2012 London Games.

Programming

Kerry has won numerous awards and nominations including seven Olivier nominations and two wins:  Boy Blue's 'Pied Piper' & Cora Bisset's 'Roadkill'.  The most recent awards include a 2017 UK Theatre Award win for best touring production for The Who's Tommy, which he directed and in March 2018 Kerry won Artistic Director of the year at the OFF WEST END Awards.

Home Theatre

With Marcus Faustini from Brazil, Kerry produced Home Theatre (UK) where 30 performances in 30 homes occurred across London.  Home Theatre has now been produced in the UK, Rio and Pretoria (South Africa). 

International Festival of Emerging Artists (IFEA)

Kerry instigated IFEA - International Festival for Emerging Artists. A UK partnership of 17 organisations identified 48 partners from around the world, who invited their emerging artists to meet in London and collaborated over the summer with young people from the UK.
